Theatre Program
We foster an environment that encourages innovative performances and designs where students can take risks and discover their personal artistic points of view. Each student’s path is catered specifically on their interest, whether that be in performance, design, management, or somewhere in between. Students are involved in every aspect of creating bold performances, preparing them for careers and graduate programs in the entertainment industry. Our award-winning faculty serve to inspire and challenge each student's artistic and intellectual potential.
The Theatre Program offers an undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre that balances a broad liberal arts perspective with the specifics of professional training focused on either performance or design and production.
Dance Program
The Dance Program at Salisbury University inspires developing artists to broaden their knowledge of diverse dance styles and cultures. Our faculty’s extensive knowledge trains dancers with individualized care and attention. Students leave the program with a range of dance techniques, choreographic and performance experiences, teaching skills, and the tools to create their unique vision in the dance field.
Students can also audition for the SU Dance Company, which focuses on dance as a fine art. Two main stage productions are presented annually. Students rehearse and perform contemporary, ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, and musical theatre repertory choreographed by resident faculty, nationally-renowned guest artists, and selected students.
